- Coover's "The Babysitter" and Joyce's afternoon: both
are disjunctive, shifty, and otherwise metafictional;
- We may even treat both in similar ways, annotating and (re)linking
the scattered bits;
- But unlike Coover's text, Joyce's has no "native" sequence...
