Comments for Pages 3 and 26: Once more the pages display the nine-panel grid. The open door of the refrigerator in 3.7 and the open door of the apartment in 26.1 complement each other neatly, even though they appear at the top of one page and the bottom of the other. This visual match suggests that some correspondences might apply to panels that are not in the expected mirror relationship. An important parallel develops over the course of these pages, in that both Jacobi and the police realize they are not alone. As each visitor makes his way through the house, armed and ready, the visual details of open doors and lighted spaces are eerily alike; yet who is the hunter and who the hunted? | ||
