Contributed Notes for Chapter X
Joshua Merrill X.28 Two riders were approaching.
Kennedy X.20.3-9 Allright, agreed this is a stupid password system, but I actually once owned a Commodore program (very long ago, forget what it was) that would tell you roughly the same thing for an incomplete or close password. Also, this is so obvious I'm embarassed you or the other major WM annotater on the Net didn't catch this, though I'm glad I did. The system asks "Do you wish to add rider?" Dan adds "II" (2). And what pray tell is the name of this chapter... (or did you not include it because it's so blatant and I'm turning into Adrian?) I didn't want to spoil a good exam question. And I still have my Commodore 64. -- Ed.
Paul Welch X.6.6-7 There is a parallel between this and the scene when Kovacs finds his mother with a customer, even down to the over-sized shirts they're both wearing. I think he realizes this and sympathizes with the boy. Another Rorschach? See also my Editor's Note on these panels. -- sam |
