Sudden water sloshes across our windshield and into the open side window. We are under attack from expensive water artillery. Off the road and back on in ten minutes, armed with water bombs, 99 cents, filled at the service station. It takes twenty minutes of hard driving to catch them, but they are not expecting us. I pin them in with the help of a camper, and the kids dowse them good, right in through their sporty sunroof. I am soaked myself, with sweat and satisfaction.
