Far above,
the wall stopped,
light poured from black,
stars boiled over the edge.
I stood looking up and a voice noted:
you have walked a long way in silence;
freedom, it lies on the far side, someone
to whom you can tell anything. I said
I know what I need, but how do I
get there? Nothing to it, the voice,
the voice in my head said:
you just swallow
every stone.
