There are many legends of Fiery Angels. Athanasius Kircher reports in Ecstatic Voyage that the sun "....is peopled with angels of fire swimming in seas of light around a volcano from which pour myriads of meteors."
Nathaniel, Arel, Atuniel, Jehoel, Ardarel, Gabriel, Madiel, Seraph, Uriel--all angels of fire.
