Hypermedia Production: Spring, 1997
COURSE OVERVIEW
Hypermedia Production is the third in a sequence of courses (including PBDS 660, "Introduction to Hypermedia," and PBDS 662, "Design of Interactive Environments") intended to give students a thorough, practical grounding in interactive media.

In 1997, the Production course continues last year's emphasis on the World Wide Web, but shifts focus from page and document design to approaches that go beyond Hypertext Markup Language: browser scripting languages, Java, "push" technologies, media inclusions, and virtual spaces.

Students produce two preliminary projects, an identity page and a VRML gallery space, before moving on to an assigned final project involving production of a complete Web site.

This course will be offered again in Fall, 1997
