Assignments for October 7

Class will not meet again until October 7. In the intervening time, please complete the following assignments. These activities are not part of your grade for the course, but doing them well will contribute to a happy outcome.

All work should be submitted by e-mail. For Part B, choose one member of your group to act as a respondent.

Part A. As an individual:

  • Read over the list of names proposed for the publication. Draw up a ranked list of three names.

Part B. As a group:

  1. List the components of your project. The standard model is feature article (or white paper), annotated source list, and expert interview. A proof-of-concept project may be substituted for the interview, or you may take this on as a fourth part. You do not need to name a person to be interviewed at this point.

  2. Propose 4-6 questions that will guide investigation of your topic.

  3. Identify a possible Topic Article.
