Technical Assignment 1Name and Logo for the PublicationDue on the server at 5 P.M. Wednesday, September 13. Have a look at the description of the publication we will launch in this course. At present it is unnamed. Suggest three names that are catchy and appropriate. I'll make the final decision, but I'm entirely open to ideas at this point. Please do not suggest names that are currently in use. (A Google search will be sufficient for this occasion: see www.google.com.)

For this first technical assignment, do the following:
Conventional wisdom as explained in Final Seminar favors names of one word, one syllable if possible--though that has something to do with print (the way magazines look in store racks) and may have no bearing here. For some reason I seem stuck on TLAs (three-letter acronyms). To help you get started, here is a not-so-promising list:
PD/X (Pub Design/Experimental) RPD (Reinventing Pub Design, Research in Pub Design, etc.) PDY (Pub Design Yearbook) Publication Desires Postprint (probably in use) Pubnext (ech) uPDate (sounds like a newsletter) PDO (Pub Design Outlook)
