- Grades
- I will correct any legitimate error of fact or calculation you call to my attention.
- You may not repeat or re-submit work for a higher grade.
- Deadlines
- I will schedule an alternative date for the final exam for those who cannot
take it as scheduled -- provided they have a very good reason.
- Other deadlines will not be modified or extended.
- What to do if you must miss class
- Read carefully the class notes posted on this site.
- See me during office hours (Wednesdays, 5:00 pm til 7:00 pm).
- Ask a classmate for help.
- Attend the Tuesday and/or Thursday evening classes. Since the weekday class has lecture on Tuesday nights and lab on Thursdays, you will probably need to attend both classes.
- Do not leave phone messages or send e-mail asking me to fill you in
on what you missed.
- Practice
- Write your own HTML experiments at home. Feel free to post test pages to your directory on Cow.
You will not learn this material effectively unless you practice.
- WYSIWYG editors
- You may not use code-generating programs like FrontPage, PageMill, and Dreamweaver during this course.
- File storage
- Files stored on Cow will be purged at the end of the summer term.
You must keep backups of any files you upload to Cow.
