Timelines vs. Scripting

This very simple animation shows the difference between timeline or frame-based animation, typically consisting of extended, multi-frame sprites, and scripted animation where the movie may have only a single frame.

As you can see, the effects are notably different.

We'll cover both forms of animation this semester, but at a certain point we will graduate from timeline work to scripting.
