The link will take you to the download utility. For Windows systems or for Mac OS 10.5 and higher, you can use FileZilla (you will need to know whether the machine you are using has an Intel CPU or a PowerPC G4 CPU).

You will need to install your new software. If you are working in an office setting, you may need someone from your tech support area to do the installation for you. If you are working from your personal computer, you should already know how to install software!
Lots of workplaces won't allow employees to use file transfer protocol. You'll need to check with the powers that be and plan to work around the limitation (that is work from home or somewhere where ftp is permitted) in order to complete the assignments for this course.
