Description and Objectives

  1. Acquaint students with ways of thinking seriously about the intersection of technology, society, and culture.
  2. Explore key issues that emerge from this intersection, especially in the areas of intellectual property, privacy, and political culture.
  3. Familiarize students with scholarly research and writing practices appropriate to postgraduate study.

Assignments and Grade Components

There are two small and two major assignments for this course. Work may be turned in as Word documents, as pdf documents, or as html documents but in all cases must be deposited on the student server in your directory and you must have a correct link to each assignment on your directory's home page (or on a subsidiary page devoted to this course). Your goal is to make my work easy!
