Usability Testing of Student Games

Tonight we will test our games. The plan is to test one team's game at a time. It is a usability test, so focus on what makes a software program usable. In addition, remember that for a computer game to be usable, that component of satisfaction includes fun.

Please use a sheet of paper for each test. Find something to say (positive or constructive) for each of the parts of a usability definition:
  • Learnability
  • Efficiency
  • Memorability
  • Error free, or recovers gracefully
  • Satisfaction
We will take time to write these notes in each test cycle. Put your name on each of them in case the teams need more information from you. Deliver your notes to the game developers.

In addition complete the Playtesting Questionnaire for each game.
