Homework Assignment 1

Due Monday, September 18

1. Using a text editor and the codes and procedures you've learned so far, prepare a Web page containing the following elements:
   
   
   1. Your name as a first-level (H1) heading;
      
      
   2. At least one list, ordered, unordered, or descriptive, that suggests something about you;
      
      
   3. A paragraph of text about yourself, properly marked up.
   
   
2. Save this page as yourLastName.hwk1.htm (filling in your last name, of course). Test it locally with a browser to be sure you have not made any mistakes.
   
   
3. Using an FTP program (WS-FTP for Windows, Fetch for the Macintosh) connect to crow.ubalt.edu and upload the page to your personal directory. Place it directly within your directory. Do not create a subdirectory.
   
   
4. Send me the URL for your page. My e-mail address is samoulthrop@ubmail.ubalt.edu. This step is required.
