- Option A: Apple

Complete the Apple exercise from Lesson 5 in AI/CIAB. Simply finishing the
illustration, with all elements of the apple (including the bisected arrow), using the supplied gradient fills, is worth something in the B range. Add modifications, rearrangements, or original touches to improve your outcome.
- Option B: Abstract
- Use the curve drawing tools to create an abstract design using as many features of curve drawing as you can manage. Include both filled and unfilled elements. For grades higher than B, experiment with differences in stroke and fill, including original gradients.
- Option C: Original Image
- Use the pen and pencil tools to create an original, non-abstract drawing. Criteria include complexity, variety of technique, and overall quality.
Please try to have some work available for viewing at the start of Thursday's class. However, this work need not be final; you will have at least 30 minutes of class time Thursday to work on this assignment. I will begin grading Friday.
