The lesson plans include what the leader needs to know, how to introduce each topic, copies of handouts for each session, and tips for enhancing the experience for all concerned. In addition, there is information available on the website for participating trainers.
- As the instructor, you need to have read the entire book and completed all activities, questionnaires, and games prior to the beginning of the first class.
- Each participant should have his or her own book.
- There will be handouts for each lesson. The class members may use them to take notes, jot down ideas or thoughts, or just doodle. Encourage your class to use the handouts. This supports the kinesthetic learner and also encourages the development of kinesthetic abilities in others who are not kinesthetic learners. You may wish to provide a folder for the class participants to keep their handouts and notes.
- If you are not as familiar as you would like to be with any of the topics, each lesson plan points you to a specific part of the Information Resources section of this website for more information and links to pertinent areas to assist you in your discussions.
